Philly Loves PAWS Returns: 10th Annual Citywide Fundraiser to Support PAWS’ Lifesaving Efforts
Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the city’s largest rescue partner and provider of affordable veterinary care, proudly announces the return of Philly Loves PAWS, a full day, citywide fundraiser on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. On this day, a wide array of businesses throughout the region will generously donate at least 10% of their sales to support PAWS’ lifesaving initiatives. This exciting event, now in its tenth year, is sponsored by Pet Supplies Plus.
This year, over 60 diverse partners including retail stores, restaurants, cafes, salons, yoga studios, and other small businesses across the city will participate in Philly Loves PAWS. In exchange for their generous support, participating businesses receive comprehensive public relations assistance aimed at maximizing awareness and weekday foot traffic, while collectively contributing to Philadelphia’s journey toward becoming a place where every savable pet is guaranteed a home, and every pet owner has the support they need to keep their family whole.

Thanks to donor support through events like Philly Loves PAWS, dogs like Patty Pancake, a two-year-old dog currently looking for a home, receive the comprehensive care they need.
Through their involvement in Philly Loves PAWS, both supporting businesses and their patrons will play a crucial role in enabling PAWS to provide vital services for animals and people in need, including rescue, rehabilitation, foster and adoption placement, affordable veterinary care, pet pantry services, temporary housing, and more.
