Ready to learn valuable skills while you help PAWS save lives? If you can commit 15-20 hours per week for three months or more, a PAWS internship may be for you! We have opportunities in adoptions, foster care, and in our Grays Ferry clinic/shelter; see job descriptions below for details.
To apply, please complete the form below or email your cover letter and resume to the address listed in the job description. Please also include the date range you would be available for an internship. If we have an opening during that period and feel you are a potential candidate, we will contact you to schedule an interview.
Please note that internships are unpaid and there can be no expectation of a job offer when it is over. Internships are filled on a rolling basis based and applicants are selected based on the interest expressed in their cover letter, the strength of their resume, and the outcome of their in-person interview. PAWS interns are held to the same expectations and standards of conduct as all PAWS volunteers, as outlined in PAWS’ volunteer manual, and will be expected to sign a Volunteer Release/Agreement. In particular, Interns are expected to demonstrate honesty, courtesy, professionalism, a cooperative attitude, and a willingness to learn.
