Philly Loves PAWS Day: May 14, 2025
Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the city’s largest rescue partner and provider of affordable veterinary care, proudly announces the return of Philly Loves PAWS, a full day, citywide fundraiser on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. On this day, a wide array of businesses throughout Philadelphia will generously donate at least 10% of their sales to support PAWS’ lifesaving initiatives. This exciting event, now in its ninth year, is sponsored by Hamilton Lane.
This year, over 80 diverse partners including retail stores, restaurants, cafes, salons, yoga studios, and other small businesses across the city will participate in Philly Loves PAWS. In return for their generous support, participating businesses receive comprehensive public relations assistance aimed at maximizing awareness and weekday foot traffic, while collectively contributing to Philadelphia’s journey toward becoming a place where every savable pet is guaranteed a home.
Through their involvement in Philly Loves PAWS, both supporting businesses and their patrons will play a crucial role in enabling PAWS to provide vital services for animals and people in need, including rescue, rehabilitation, foster and adoption placement, affordable veterinary care, pet pantry services, temporary housing, and more. Businesses confirmed to participate in Philly Loves PAWS as of May 5, 2025, are:

“We’re thrilled to partner with over 80 amazing local businesses for this year’s Philly Loves PAWS Day,” says Melissa Levy, executive director. “It is a powerful show of community spirit that, year after year, highlights the local businesses who make our city special, while raising vital funds to help vulnerable pets find loving homes and stay with the families who love them. We are privileged to stand alongside our neighbors as we address Philadelphia’s urgent animal welfare needs.”
Since its establishment in 2016, Philly Loves PAWS has generated over $150,000 in lifesaving funds to support homeless and at-risk pets. To learn more please visit phillylovespaws.org.
