Side Paws is a small grassroots outreach group dedicated to improving the quality of life for dogs that spend much or all of their lives outside. They coordinate veterinary care, get dogs off chains, and provide improved outdoor housing, bedding, supplemental pet food, and rehoming assistance when needed.

The Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is Side Paws’ largest veterinary partner. We’ve created a fund to subsidize medical care for dogs served by Side Paws. Your donation will provide preventative care such as vaccines and flea treatment, spay/neuter surgeries, and diagnostics and treatment for illnesses such as skin issues, eye and ear infections, and other common ailments.
