Ike and Twizzler were found outside with their mother and siblings right after the pandemic started. When PAWS took them in and put the word out that they needed a foster home, foster mom Lisa answered the call!

“I finally had the time to foster and felt ready to be around animals since my cat passed away two years. I thought I would be doing good and helping animals. When we took home a mom and her litter of five kittens, we found it so uplifting. One of the kittens, Ike, basically chose us!”

“He would nap on us for hours, cuddle and play with us. It was almost like we didn’t have a choice in the matter, this little guy wanted to stay with us.”

“Once we realized we were likely going to keep him, we knew we didn’t want him to grow up alone, so we decided to keep one of his brothers as well.”

“Twizzler spent so much time with Ike, they got along so well we knew he would round out our family so well. I am so glad we decided to adopt two of the fosters and make them a permanent part of our family!”
