PAWS for Shelter Pets with Abington Free Library

Kids in grades K-6 are invited to celebrate National Pet Month with PAWS and the Abington Free Library!
Allison Lamond, Community Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator from the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, will present a program on the topics of “I Want a Pet” and “Safe Animal Interactions,” in addition to an overview of PAWS. During the program children will provide their own t-shirts to make cat and dog toys to be donated to PAWS. Families may drop off the toys and a donated item for PAWS at the library after the event.
