Young Friends of PAWS is a community of passionate, like-minded individuals ages 21-40(ish) with a shared love of animals, a dedication to their well-being, and a commitment to supporting others socially and professionally.

Young Friends of PAWS is a division of PAWS. Together, we share the responsibility of working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

Young Friends of PAWS Presents “Best in Show” Screening with Young Friends of Philadelphia Film Society

Lights, camera, paws! Join the Philly Film Society and Young Friends of PAWS for an afternoon of classic cinema and friendly competition on Saturday, January 24 at the Film Society East. Test your knowledge with animal-themed movie trivia, then settle in for a community screening of Best in Show.

About the movie: An eclectic cadre of dog owners and trainers descend upon Philadelphia for the annual Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show in this hallmark comedy of the 21st century, featuring a laundry list of acclaimed comedians obsessing over man’s best friend. Starring Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Jennifer Coolidge, Fred Willard and directed by Christopher Guest.
