Apex Gaming remembers Charlie the cat: Charlie Thomas Simon was adopted from PAWS Old City location November 5th, 2018, at the ripe age of one. Charlie had bounced around several locations for approximately sixty days before landing at PAWS, with unfortunately quite a few challenges ahead of him. Charlie was suffering from rather severe asthma, as well as a terrible stomach bug. Despite these challenges, and the warnings posted on his kennel, Charlie made an unforgettable impression on his parents. Dashing out of his kennel to not run away, but rather plop and purr on his future mother until she had to pick him up and return him to his kennel.

While Charlie’s life was short, he taught his parents many lessons. He especially taught his Dad that despite his prior opinion, you can love animals as much as you love humans, and animals can change your life forever. “As much as we saved Charlie, he saved us ten times over.” ~ Charlie’s Mom & Dad.
