Thank you to everyone who joined us for an amazing Mutt Strut on Sunday, October 8!

We are thrilled to announce that together, we shattered all but one of our previous fundraising records and raised over $133,000 for homeless animals! Proceeds will fund PAWS’ lifesaving efforts and enable us to rescue and serve more of Philadelphia’s neediest pets. Thank you to the attendees, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, teams, and fundraisers who contributed to this incredible day! We are grateful beyond words to celebrate with such an extraordinary community of PAWS supporters.

Nearly a dozen adoptable PAWS dogs joined us at the Mutt Strut, and many applications were received at the event, resulting in several adoptions in the days to follow! Peter, pictured here at our paw print painting booth, was one of the pups who found love thanks to the Strut.

Hundreds of animal lovers joined us for a scenic walk in The Navy Yard, kicked off by the Mummers!

Mutt Strutters enjoyed dozens of vendors and activities, including an enrichment zone with Central Bark, activity zone with Philly Pet Care, doggy ice cream with Salty Paws, doggy yoga with Lumos Barre and Yoga, costume and talent contests, photo booths, doggy ice cream, delicious food trucks, paw print painting, raffles, prizes, and more!

Proceeds from the Mutt Strut will enable us to rescue and care for thousands of homeless pets in the coming year. We were so proud to be surrounded by the people who make our work possible, and we are deeply grateful for our community of caring and generous partners.
