Cat Adoption Day

Clear the Shelters is here! PAWS is thrilled to partner once again with Hills Pet Nutrition, NBC10 Philadelphia, and Telemundo 62 for this nationwide pet adoption event.

Head to PAWS’ Old City Adoption Center where fees will be waived for every cat adoption that takes place on August 27. We will be prioritizing approved adopters, so please fill out an application ahead of time at phillypaws.org/catapp

If you or anyone you know is thinking of adopting a new feline family member, now is the time: we hope to see you there!

Other important details

• – Masks are required inside the adoption center. We are limiting indoor capacity to 2-3 groups at a time, so please be prepared for a possible outdoor wait.
• – Our regular adoption application process is in place for this event: to cut down on wait times and increase your chance of a same-day adoption, get pre-approved by filling out an adoption application ahead of time at phillypaws.org/catapp or (please include that your application is for Clear The Shelters to increase your chances of having it processed ahead of time)!
• – Due to space constraints, we will NOT have dogs at the Old City Adoption Center. To adopt a dog, please fill out an application at phillypaws.org/dogapp so we can match you with a dog in foster care and facilitate a meet up. All dog adoption fees are waived throughout the entire month of August!
