When you adopt a shelter pet, you change their life forever — and often they change yours! Bootsie was living on the street before being picked up by a Good Samaritan and later rescued by PAWS. His snuggly and affectionate personality made him an instant staff favorite, and soon caught the attention of adopters Krista and Dylan. They fell in love as soon as they met him, and the rest is history!

Quickly acclimating to a life of cozy couches, “Bootsie is spoiled to the nines!” says Krista. “He really does just eat up the attention! His cuddles are so special, too. He sleeps with us every night and especially loves working from home with mom. He is such a curious boy. He watches the cars go by outside of our tall windows and loves scoping out new spots in the apartment. While he’s independent and comfortable alone, we call him our little shadow because he follows us everywhere we go.”
