Wanted: dog fosters! If you’re looking for an adorable houseguest to ring in the new year with, we’ve got several friendly pups who’d love to find a soft place to land. They’re all in short-term fosters at the moment, and we’d really like to keep them from spending any more time in our kennels if we can avoid it! We’ll provide any supplies you might need during your foster’s stay, and can help match you with the best canine companion for your household.

Tucker is a 2-year-old, 100-pound social butterfly who thinks every human is his best friend. Affectionate, silly, and eager to please, he loves treats, learning, and being close to his people. He’s house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, and would thrive in an active home that can provide structure, exercise, and continued training.

Netta is a 6-year-old bundle of joy with nonstop tail wags and a big love for affection. She lives for belly rubs, playtime, and cheering on her people. Food-motivated and enthusiastic, she enjoys training and enrichment activities. Netta is seeking a supportive foster home committed to regular exercise and helping her continue her weight-loss journey.

Bubba is a 2-year-old sweet, curious lovebug with a playful side and a soft spot for stuffed toys. He explores at his own pace, enjoys affection when he’s ready, and settles in nicely for companionship. Friendly with other dogs and food-motivated, Bubba needs a calm foster home comfortable supporting ongoing medical care.

Kratos is a 2-year-old certified Good Boy with a goofy charm and a serious love of cuddling. He enjoys walks, car rides, and being close to his people. Though blind and occasionally clumsy, he learns new spaces quickly and responds well to treats. Kratos would do best in a patient, loving home with gentle guidance and lots of belly rubs. ...

Fostering changes lives! 💙 We’re so grateful to everyone who’s welcomed a four-legged friend into their home over the holidays, whether for short-term fostering or extended stays. Foster families play a crucial role in providing a safe space for these pets, even if they just get a couple nights out of the shelter, and we can’t thank our amazing foster community enough for opening their homes this holiday season!

While the holidays may be coming to an end, there are still many animals who need foster care — whether they have medical or behavioral needs, require a break from the shelter due to stress, are kittens or nursing mothers, or are pets waiting to be reunited with their families through our Safety Net foster program.

Let’s talk about Zoe, because she definitely wants to talk to you! This spunky, chatty, affectionate 3-year-old is looking for a loving owner to celebrate her unique personality. She’s a total people cat who will see you off at the door when you leave and be right there to greet you when you come home, talking your ear off and waiting to hear all about your day.

Zoe enjoys playtime with wand toys, but she’s also happily independent and happy to lounge nearby like a cozy little supervisor. She loves her humans, and may meow occasionally just to check in and make sure you’re still close and doing okay.

Zoe can get stressed when she’s out of her comfort zone, so she’d love to settle down in a relaxed adult home where she’ll be the star as your only pet. She has some skin allergies that are easily managed with medication and a prescription diet, and her adopter will go home with a 3 month supply of both!
