Sooki is a shy, sweet female pit bull mix around two years old who was found wandering the streets alone. She was very friendly, but also very timid in the shelter setting. During her stay at PAWS we celebrated her small milestones: learning to trust someone new, enjoying a play session outside, or building the confidence to socialize with other dogs.
After months of waiting, Sooki left into foster care and was eventually adopted by an acquaintance of her foster parent. She now lives happily in the suburbs with her adoring family and a Goldendoodle sibling. They report that she’s happy, confident, and enjoying her new life.
