On March 22, 2013, PAWS celebrated the third anniversary of our Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic opening its doors at 2900 Grays Ferry Avenue in Philadelphia.
In that time, we have:
– provided basic vet care to more than 32,000 of the city’s neediest pets;
– performed more than 18,000 spay/neuter surgeries; and,
– provided housing and medical care to nearly 5,000 of our own rescued animals.
By making affordable veterinary care available to those who need it most, the clinic is stemming the flow of homeless animals into the city’s shelters and bringing Philadelphia closer to becoming a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home. We thank everyone who has joined us in this effort!
