PAWS Rescues 10,000th Animal

ScoobyOn September 23, PAWS rescued its 10,000th animal since becoming Philadelphia’s largest no-kill shelter on January 1, 2009. Help us celebrate this milestone by donating $10 in honor of your favorite rescued pet.

Our 10,000th rescue is Scooby, a 5-month-old male kitten who was found on the streets of West Philadelphia, taken to animal control, and taken in by PAWS. He’s currently waiting at our Adoption Center for a home.

Our biggest thanks go out to the many adopters, fosters, donors, and volunteers who made this achievement possible. We won’t stop until every healthy and treatable pet has a home.

Give $10 to help save the next 10,000!
