On May 30, 2015, PAWS celebrated the first birthday of its Northeast Adoption Center and Low-Cost Clinic. In its first year, the facility has served more than 10,000 of the city’s neediest pets: it has enabled PAWS to rescue 800 additional homeless animals and provide spay/neuter surgery and basic veterinary care to more than 9,400 pets whose owners could not afford to go elsewhere.
To mark the occasion, we hosted a celebration with tours, refreshments, and lots of happy adoptions!
More than 30 animals found loving homes, including Scotch, pictured with adopter Rhonda. Click here for more photos!
Thank you to all who played a role in the first of many successful years to come at PAWS Northeast as we get closer than ever to achieving a no-kill city.
