ASPCA Supports PAWS’ Efforts to Rescue City’s Neediest Pets

ASPCAThe ASPCA has once again shown their steadfast support for Philadelphia’s animals by awarding PAWS with a grant of $2,063 for our efforts to rescue, care for, and adopt out homeless dogs and cats.

Marie, rescued by PAWSThis funding, which has been generously made possible by FidoPharm, will enable PAWS to save the lives of animals entering Philadelphia’s animal control shelter (like Marie, right, who is waiting for a home).

The ASPCA and FidoPharm’s support will be used to provide spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchips, veterinary care, food, and housing for animals we rescue and place into adoptive or foster homes.

All of our efforts are aimed at reducing Philadelphia’s homeless pet population, and ultimately making Phildelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.
